Ingredients

Scale

1 can – Jumbo flakey biscuits

Cinnamon Sugar Topping

  • 1/4 C – Sugar
  • 1/4 TB – cinnamon
  • 2 1/2 TB – Melted butter

Glaze Topping

  • 1 C – Powdered sugar
  • 2 TB – Milk
  • 1/2 tsp – Vanilla extract or Maple extract

Instructions

I generally don’t like using the air fryer, feels a little like cheating to me for some reason but, others in our household absolutely love it. This recipe is all over the place but surprisingly we never heard of it until now.

  • Heat air fryer to 360
  • Unpack your biscuits and cut your holes. We used a narrow shot glass for this, works great.
  • Coat biscuits to prevent sticking. We used light layer of olive oil spray.
  • Place donuts on rack or in basket depending on air fryer type.
  • Cook for 5 minutes

Cinnamon topping

  • Melt butter for approx. 30 seconds in the microwave.
  • Mix Cinnamon and sugar together in a small bowl
  • Remove donuts and coat with melted butter.
  • Dip the coated side into the cinnamon sugar mixture and coat thoroughly

Glazed topping

  • Heat milk for 15 seconds in the microwave
  • In a small bowl combine milk, powdered sugar and extract, we used Maple extract
  • Remove donuts and dip into glaze, coat as much as needed

Donut Holes

  • We follow the same instructions for the donuts except we only cook for 3 minutes
