When it comes to chili, no matter who you talk to, they will claim that theirs is the best. From spicey to mild, soupy to thick, chili is one of those wonderful recipes that can be tailored to its creator. For our Taco Chili recipe we decided to take the road not taken, healthy. Yes, I know the sacrifice we often make when we throw that ‘H’ word into a recipe; taste. I will say that while I will not claim that this is the best chili I have ever had, it is pretty damn good and you can feel a little better about yourself after your fourth bowl.
I will be posting more chili recipes as time goes on, and may even make that same claim that so many of you make, but for now we will focus on trying solve this equation: taste + healthy = x.
