Ingredients
- 2 – All beef hotdogs
- 1– Slice of thick bacon
- 2 – Slices of cheddar cheese, or a handful of shredded cheddar
- 1– Hot dog bun
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350
- Slice the hot dogs down the center to butterfly, do not separate the 2 halves.
- Cook the bacon on med-low heat until partially cooked
- Place hot dogs alongside bacon in the frying pan, make sure hot dogs are spread open
- Cook hot dogs in bacon grease until both sides are browned
- Remove bacon and hot dogs
- On a cooking sheet place both hot dogs in the bun and top with bacon and cheddar cheese
- Bake until cheese has melted
