I didn’t think pepperoni rolls could get any better until I tried these pepperoni bites. What starts out as a snack can quickly turn into dinner if you’re not careful.
Thaw the dough out, cut into slices and flatten, make sure to use enough flour to keeps these from sticking. Start adding the pepperoni and cheeses and fold up into a ball.
Put the bites into a baking dish and coat with melted butter. Add desired amounts of garlic salt, Italian seasoning, and parmesan on top and bake. These are great with some warmed marinara or with nothing at all.

Ingredients
- 1 loaf – Frozen bread dough
- 1 package – Pepperoni
- 1 cup – Shredded mozzarella
- 4 sticks – String cheese(mixed) – sliced
- 3 TB – Butter
- 1 TB – Garlic salt(to taste)
- 1 TB – Italian seasoning(to taste)
- 1 TB – Parmesan cheese
- 2 TB – Flour
Instructions
- Thaw dough to room temperature, do not let rise
- Sprinkle flour to cover a pastry sheet, enough to keep dough from sticking
- Cut dough into 1/4″ slices
- Flatten each slice
- To each slice add: 3 pepperoni, 1/2″ string cheese, pinch shredded mozzarella
- Fold dough to a ball shape
- Place the bites into a 9×12 greased baking dish
- Melt the butter in the microwave for 20 seconds
- Brush melted butter over the bites
- Sprinkle garlic salt, Italian seasoning and parmesan on top
- Let rise for approx. 1 hour
- Bake at 375 for approx. 20 minutes or until tops start to brown
