Description
My brother makes the best meatballs around so I asked if I could get his recipe. This isn’t exactly how he does it but its pretty close. Try them out and see what you think.
Ingredients
- 1 lb. – Ground beef
- 1 lb. – Italian mild sausage(use hot if you like them spicy)
- 1 – Medium onion(finely chopped)
- 2 – Eggs beaten
- 1 C – Bread crumbs
- 1 TB – Olive oil
- 1 tsp – Salt
- 1/2 tsp – Pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400
- Combine both meats, onion, eggs and spices into a medium size mixing bowl and mix thoroughly.
- Once mixed make medium sized balls until mixture is gone and set aside.
- Heat the oil and garlic in a large frying pan on medium heat until garlic begins to brown.
- Add meatballs and rotate until they are browned and slightly crispy.
- Transfer meatballs to a large baking dish and cook uncovered for 20 minutes or until no pink remains.
- From here you can add your meatballs to your simmering sauce and serve.
