Easy Korean Beef

Ever have one of those days where cooking dinner seems like a chore, let me guess that’s every night. For me cooking dinner is enjoyable, most of the time, this recipe is great for those other times. Our easy Korean beef is just as the title says, easy. Some ground beef rice and a couple of spices is all it takes to feed the whole family and the bonus is it’s ready in under 20 minutes

I usually write up some steps to walk you through the process but there isn’t a whole lot here so we’ll do an abbreviated version. We can start by cooking up a cup of your favorite rice, we use Jasmine. While the rice is simmering we can get everything else done. Brown some garlic in a pan with some oil and add the ground beef.

While the meat is cooking mix up the sauce. Turn the meat to low once done and pour a little bit of the sauce on top to flavor. Fill your plate up with rice, top with the ground beef and pour some more of the sauce on top.

Notes

I use a double batch of sauce for this recipe because we like ours extra saucy. Optional – add 1/4 tsp toasted sesame seeds and 2 chopped green onions to beef mixture.
